Louisa Alice-Rose - Principal of LAR Performing Arts
Louisa is a professional soprano and actress. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a First Class Honours Degree in Vocal Studies and Opera in 2016. Other training includes The Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
Louisa's love of singing began with her West End debut in Les Miserables (aged 8). Performance highlights include solos at Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, the Royal Albert Hall and The Actors' Church, Covent Garden. Louisa represented England at the semi-finals of the Llangollen Eisteddfod in July 2019 and was nominated for a Classic BRIT Award in 2018.
Louisa will be releasing her first album in Autumn 2019.

Julius Wills - Vice-Principal of LAR Performing Arts
Julius teaches our Saturday Drama classes. His classes include preparing for LAMDA Acting / Verse & Prose Exams.
Julius focuses on developing the skills required for vocal projection and articulation. His classes build confidence and encourage children to be brave by thinking outside the box. A skilled actor himself, Julius is able to stretch our older children and teenagers to really 'become' another character and explore another world.
Julius trained with the Year Out Drama Company, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon and then continued his studies with the Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company.
Julius' professional credits include Edmund in Shakespeare's King Lear, Lopahin in Cherry Orchard, Bertram in Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, Rodrigo in Shakespeare's Othello, Benedick in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing and Antonio in Shakespeare's The Merchant Of Venice. Julius is the Artistic Director of Broken Word Productions and can be seen regularly at the Camden Fringe Festival as a writer, director and actor.
Syanne Day - Dance Teacher
Syanne teaches our Saturday Dance classes. Syanne's classes are Mixed Style - drawing technique from Ballet & Contemporary.
Syanne trained at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham until the age of 16 and then moved to London to complete her training at the English National Ballet School. Syanne graduated from English National Ballet School in 2015 with a Diploma in Professional Dance.
Syanne has worked with the English National Ballet on many occasions. She toured the UK with them in their production of Swan Lake, completing the tour with performances at The London Coliseum and The Royal Albert Hall.
Recently, Syanne has been performing with Mercurial Dance in and around Birmingham, merging both contemporary and classical styles of dance.
Syanne teaches workshops and classes in many styles of dance including ballet, contemporary, jazz, salsa and flamenco to a range of age groups at schools and gyms throughout Hertfordshire. We are very lucky to have her!
Helayna Liviero - Street Dance Teacher
Helayna teaches our Friday Street Dance classes and our Tuesday Jazz Dance Classes.
Helayna's classes teach the foundations of Street Dance - including Locking, Popping and Hip Hop.
Helayna is a graduate of Performers College, where she received a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Theatre in 2017. A qualified Street Dance teacher, Helayna gained her Level 4 Diploma with Distinction back in 2012 with Urban Strides.
Professional performance credits include: Peter Pan and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Pantomime, UK Productions as Ensemble/Dancer (Aylesbury Waterside Theatre), Aladdin Pantomime, Paul Holman Associates as Ms Bassett/Dancer (Chesterfield Pomegranate Theatre), 2016 AQA GCSE Contemporary choreography demonstration video (Nikki O'Hara), NFL Opening Ceremony (Mass Movement), Young Voices Arena Tour (Urban Strides).
David Woods (DipABRSM) - Singing Teacher
David is a professional singer and singing teacher based in Luton. He is a regular singer on the London choral circuit, has sung as a soloist in many concerts with choirs and choral societies and recently returned from a UK tour performing principal roles with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. As a teacher, he regularly leads choral workshops, conducts choirs and teaches private students, with students achieving scholarships to study singing at conservatoire. He is delighted to be joining the teaching staff at LAR Performing Arts.
Will Banister - Drama Teacher
Will teaches Drama for our Tuesday Classes. His classes include working towards LAMDA Acting Exams, developing confidence, working on vocal projection and building ensemble skills.
Will trained with the Year Out Drama Company and following that, the Comeback Company, both in Stratford-Upon-Avon. While there he benefited from the vocational design of the course, their strong focus on ensemble and their ties with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Will has a passion for acting in many forms, including classic and contemporary plays, music theatre, film, TV and voiceover. He also enjoys writing his own material and directing for theatre and film. Will has appeared in theatre as Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing, John Hale in 'The Crucible', Joseph Freitas Jr. in 'Execution of Justice' & Frank in 'A Vampire's Story' .
Will has been teaching acting for many years and takes real pride in seeing his students grow in skill and confidence.
