LAR Performing Arts - Brixton

Welcome to LAR Brixton!

At LAR Brixton we are all about building confidence and learning key performance skills. Our class sizes are kept small and we value each individual child. We have a Christmas performance and a Summer performance for parents, friends and family. LAR Brixton is a registered LAMDA Exam Centre with exams taking place each Spring.

We offer classes in Musical Theatre, Singing, Dance and Drama for children ages 4 to 11. We offer collection from Corpus Christi School. Our classes take place at Corpus Christi Church Hall.

Julius Wills - Vice-Principal of LAR

Julius is Vice-Principal of LAR Performing Arts. His classes include preparing for optional LAMDA Acting / Verse & Prose Exams.

Julius focuses on developing the skills required for vocal projection and articulation. His classes build confidence and encourage children to be brave by thinking outside the box. A skilled actor himself, Julius is able to stretch our older children and teenagers to really 'become' another character and explore another world.

Julius trained with the Year Out Drama Company, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon and then continued his studies with the Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company.

Julius' professional credits include Edmund in Shakespeare's King Lear, Lopahin in Cherry Orchard, Bertram in Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, Rodrigo in Shakespeare's Othello, Benedick in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing and Antonio in Shakespeare's The Merchant Of Venice. Most recently Julius played the role of Buttons in Cinderella.

Daisy Clarke - Musical Theatre LAMDA Teacher

We are delighted to be welcoming Daisy Clarke to our teaching team! Daisy trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
She will be teaching Dance & Singing and LAMDA for both Tuesday & Thursday classes.
